Our objective is to breed hardy but tiny, multi coloured Australian Miniature Goats
with great conformation and friendly temperaments.
All our kids are hand raised to ensure they are very friendly and used to being handled

We are not placing the does in kid in 2008 until late in the season to give all our breeding does a well earned break,

The Australian Miniature Goat

The Australian Miniature Goat is a miniature breed of goat developed over the past decade by selective cross breeding. The Australian Miniature Goat breed standard accepts animals up to a maximum of 63.5cm (25") at the lowest grade, although realistically animals should not exceed 58.5cm (23"). The purebred animal is 50.8cm (20") or smaller, as of 2006 there are no 50.8cm (20") purebred animals in Australia. At Just Kiddin Mini Goats our aim is to consistently breed miniature animals of about 44-50cm (17-20").

Australian Miniature Goats are graded from D, C, B, A, to Purebred, the higher the grade generally the smaller and more genetically proven the animal (if registered with AMGA Type 1). You should be aware that Australian Miniature Goats not registered by the Australian Miniature Goat Association Inc, (AMGA) have lower standards. Australian Miniature Goat association (AMGA) Type 1 registered animals must meet the strictest standards and have the lowest height limits.

At Just Kiddin Mini Goats we hand raise and disbud all our kids to ensure they have great temperaments, love being around people and make the finest addition to your breeding herd or fantastic pets. We strongly believe that our animals should enjoy being handled ensuring that there is no stress to you or your animal when it comes to things such as general health checks, hoof trimming, worming, vaccinations etc. We also believe that they should also be independent enough to happily roam around the backyard or paddock on their own without constantly needing your company. It is a fine balance, but a necessary one unless you want to spend all your time entertaining your little friends!

We have added some general goat information to our website which will hopefully give you plenty of information if you are looking to purchase your first goat, add to your herd or if you already have goats and just need a little help.
