Just Kiddin Mini Goats Breeders of Australian Miniature Goats

We have provided some photo's to give you an idea of what you 'might'
expect to see during your doe's labour. As with most things about goat's however,
everyone is different.

Pregnant doe 2 days before birth	Doe starts to call on day of birth, this doe was calling with each contraction and started approx 6 hours before birth.
First mucous appears
Beginning to push	Pushing harder
Dilating	Placental sac is visible. Sometimes this will break, other times it appears like this.
You can just make out the outline of a hoof inside the sac.
At this time Mum decided to stand up for a while	and then she decided to lay down again
The arrival - half out	completely out !
Mum start to lick and clean the new arrival	Mum is now up and continuing to clean the kid.
The first drink. Make sure the kid has found the teat and started to suckle to ensure it gets the essential colostrum.	Cleaning and bonding continues.....
Happy and healthy a few hours later
