13th July 2008 - Just Kiddin Mini Goats scoop the pool at the 2008 Laidley Show winning all of the major prizes.

Australian Miniature Goat Show Judging was held at the Laidley Show on the 13th July.  This was the first opportunity for the Australian
Miniature Goat to be shown and judged where a large number of animals and breeders were represented.  The show provided the first
opportunity so far to compare miniature goats from many of the oldest and longest established breeders in the country.

Just Kiddin took out both of the major prizes - CHAMPION MINIATURE GOAT (over 3 years) - Just Kiddin Evie and
CHAMPION MINIATURE BRED GOAT (under 3 years) - Just Kiddin Gabrielle.

First Prize was also taken out in their class for:
Miniature Bred Doe under 12 months - Just Kiddin Hoot
Miniature Bred Doe 12-24 months - Just Kiddin Geenie
Miniature Bred doe 24-36 months - Just Kiddin Gabrielle (also Champion Miniature Bred Goat)
Miniature Doe over 36 months - Just Kiddin Evie (also Champion Miniature Goat)
Miniature Bred Buckling - under 12 months - Just Kiddin Harley

Place getters were:
Second Place - Miniature Buck over 36 months - Just Kiddin Ejaz
Third Place - Miniature Bred Buckling 12-24 months - Just Kiddin Guru

All goats were judged on their overall conformation.

Our 2008 kidding season will not commence until later this year as we are giving the girls a bit of a break!

We recently put some quality breeding stock up for sale, the majority was sold within 4 days of listing.
We have had great feedback and photos from the new owners - mostly new breeders who we look forward to working
with and assisting in their endeavours.

2008 is our 'I' year. All kids born in 2008 will have a name beginning with an 'I'.
We have had some great name suggestions so far!
